National Check Casher Database The National Check Casher Database (NCCD) is the powerful engine that drives the Cash-It USA system. This database tracks each transaction of every Cash-It USA customer and every maker/payer. This means you will instantly receive complete information about the person trying to cash a check at your window and the maker of the check. You will see if there has ever been an uncollected check or fraudulent transaction involving either the casher or the maker/payer at any of our client locations.
	Fingerprint ID Each customer is keyed to their fingerprint image. When the customer comes in, scan the fingerprint. The NCCD is instantly searched for a match. If the customer is on file, their personal information and picture will be displayed. At the same time, the customer's records will be searched and a 'risk analysis' based on the customer's recent check cashing history and returned/dishonored items will be displayed.
	Imaging and Storage Each check is scanned into the system with an optical check reader and stored for 7 years. This device records images of both sides of the check. Account numbers are checked against the NCCD of payer accounts for activity and past problems. Additionally, the NCCD will provide the maker's name and address that should be imprinted on the check, and display a copy of the last check image on file for the payer. As a final security check, for a small fee, you also have the option to verify/guarantee the check in the national bank account verification database.
